Hi! Welcome to Home Inspired Bliss! My name is Tashia and I'm the one in charge of this little space on the web.
I started this blog because I love, love, love blog surfing, finding and sharing new ideas. I'm a stay-at-home-mom to two awesome kids. Our son, Hudson, is three years old and a real firecracker! He is incredibly smart and totally hilarious! Our daughter, Harper, just turned one. She is my little cupcake lady and has a ton of spunk! I also have the best husband a girl could ask for! Jeremy and I met seven years ago, fell in love, got engaged in Hawaii, bought our first house, had a beautiful outdoor wedding and found out we were pregnant with our first baby a week after celebrating our first anniversary. When Hudson was about 1 1/2, we decided to add another member to the family and had our little girl nine months later. I love being a mom and enjoy (almost)every second I get to spend at home with them.
I've always loved photography and wanted to pursue it as a career for a while now, so I'm finally slowly learning the ins and outs of being a business owner so that I can launch my business within the next year. It's something I'm SO passionate about and love that I'll still be about to stay at home with my babies and have a career on the side!
I'm also an avid scrapbooker. I've been scrapbooking for about 15 years! My style has evolved over the years and now I'm using Project Life to do my documenting. I adore it! I also make separate "traditional" scrapbooks for the kids, but am considering switching over to using the new Project Life products for them as well. In addition to scrapbooks, I make family yearbooks using MyPublisher. I'm all about the memory keeping and would love to dabble in making some of my own scrapbooking products to sell on etsy.com.
I love to travel, especially with my husband. We've been to some pretty incredible places and have big plans for lots of future travel! Let's just hope those plans become a reality!
I'm learning (ever so slowly) how to sew and I'm really enjoying it so far! I've wanted to learn for a long time, but didn't have access to my own sewing machine until my awesome mother-in-law bought one for me. I keep finding new projects on Pinterest.com, which I'm completely addicted to, that I can't wait to try.
I'm a social butterfly and love being around people and making new friends. I also love positive comments and feedback, so if you like what you see don't be afraid to say hi. I hope you'll stop back often!
Thanks for reading!
