Spooky

I wanted to add a little Halloween flair to the cut out at the top of our stairs. (Our house was built in the early 60's and has a couple of oddly placed cut outs and I've never really been sure what to do with them.)  It was a very easy update from everyday to holiday.  Here is what I did.

I used spider themed scrapbook paper purchased at Achiever's for around $1.50.  I cut them into 5x7 squares to fit into frames that are already hanging on the wall.

Here are the other supplies I used:

I used my computer and typed out some large letter, printed them, cut them out and then glittered them with silver glitter.

Once they had dried completely, I put everything together!

Here it was it looked like before:

*Don't mind the baby gate, or the way the flash is making our wall look an ugly yellow color)

And here is what it looks like now!:

You can't see the letters on the black paper very good in the pictures, but they show up better in person.

I am really happy with the way they turned out.  I wouldn't normally decorate quite this early, but I wanted to share it with you!

Total cost of project was around $1.50 for the paper and I had the rest.  Cute and Cheap!
